In Brief

This eye bag treatment cost Singapore guide explains what shapes a fee, because prices cannot be advertised. The fee follows the cause: herniated fat, a hollow, fluid or lax skin. Filler may suit a hollow, but it can worsen a true herniation. Results vary.

What the Research Shows: Eye Bag Treatment Cost Singapore

  • A 2015 expert consensus, not a trial, recommended at least 200 U of hyaluronidase, more if no improvement within 60 minutes, and said early treatment within 24 hours usually gave better outcomes. [1]
  • A 2023 retrospective case series of 39 patients, all flooded first, reported a mean 122.5 IU hyaluronidase with ultrasound-guided targeting versus 1519.4 IU with flooding (level of evidence 4). [2]
  • A 2024 preliminary case series of 5 women found the 4 treated promptly fully recovered and the fifth, treated later, markedly improved, with a mean of 87 IU hyaluronidase across all five under ultrasound. [5]
  • A 2026 randomised assessor-blinded trial of 448 adults reported greater skin hydration with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid than no treatment at all post-treatment points (P<0.001), with no serious adverse events. [6]

About This Treatment

The short answer

No figures appear on this page. That is partly because of Singapore's rules on healthcare advertising, and partly because the fee follows a diagnosis.

An eye bag can have four causes: herniated fat, a hollow along the orbital rim, fluid puffiness and lax lower-lid skin. Several can coexist, and each needs a different approach. So the lower lid must be examined in person, at rest and in animation.

Why the cause comes first

Herniated fat

A true bulge of fat cannot be filled away. It is a surgical question, so it goes to referral.

A hollow along the orbital rim

This is a shadow problem, where filler may be considered.

Fluid puffiness

This is not a procedure. It calls for advice and, where needed, medical review.

Lax lower-lid skin

This is a skin-quality question, for device, laser or skin-booster work.

What else shapes the fee

Zones

A tear trough alone costs differently from a trough combined with cheek support or a skin-quality treatment.

Combinations and staging

Combined plans are itemised. A single-visit plan differs from a staged plan with a review between stages.

Earlier filler

If ultrasound finds existing filler, dissolving and reassessment come before any new placement.

Physician time

What an eye bag treatment cost Singapore quote includes

Consultation

The examination and consultation fee, stated when booking.

Components

Each treatment component with its consumables, itemised.

Review

Review forms part of the written plan rather than an extra charge.

The option of no treatment

A consultation can end without a treatment recommendation. There is no same-day decision and no package.

What each approach cannot do

Filler over a true herniation can make the bulge worse. Filler over fluid-holding cheek mounds may worsen the area too. Fluid management does not remove fat or lax skin. Skin-quality work does not remove a herniation. The clinic does not perform eye bag surgery, so herniated fat is referred. Whichever route you take, no outcome is promised and results vary.

Who should wait, and the risks

Filler: who should wait

Pregnancy and breastfeeding, and infection or inflamed skin at the site. A bleeding tendency, autoimmune disease, a keloid tendency or earlier non-resorbable product is discussed carefully.

Filler: common effects

Swelling, tenderness and small bruises. Tear troughs swell more than cheeks or chin.

Filler: serious risk

A blocked blood vessel is the most serious risk. See the warning signs.

Reversal

Hyaluronidase dissolves hyaluronic acid only. Radiesse, Ellansé and Sculptra cannot be dissolved.

Comparing written quotes

Compare the diagnosis first. Ask which of the four causes was found, which approach is quoted, what review and exclusions apply, and who performs the treatment. A number means little until you know what it is treating. Session counts are not given here. Plans are either one visit or staged, with reviews between stages.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The lower lid must be examined in person, at rest and in animation.
Singapore's rules on healthcare advertising restrict them, and the fee depends on the cause found at examination.
No. Herniated fat is referred, and the surgical team sets its own fee after its own examination.
It depends on the cause. Filler may suit a hollow at the trough, but it can make a true herniation worse.
If ultrasound finds existing filler, dissolving and reassessment come before any new placement.
No. Fluid management is advice and, where needed, medical review, charged at the consultation fee only.
Yes. Several can coexist, so a plan may combine approaches, and each part is itemised in the written quote.
