In Brief

This HIFU cost Singapore guide explains what shapes a fee, because prices cannot be advertised. The fee follows your zones, depths, lines and device, with review. HIFU may suit early to moderate laxity. It does not treat volume loss or redundant skin. Results vary.

What the Research Shows: HIFU Cost Singapore

  • A 2023 systematic review of 16 studies, mostly in women, reported investigator-rated improvement in 92% at day 90; treatment was moderately painful, transient redness was common, and other adverse effects affected 2%. [1]
  • A 2024 single-treatment study of 20 Asian women reported dermatologist-rated jowl and nasolabial laxity improvement at 12 and 24 weeks, no burns or scarring, and no significant change in pores or wrinkles. [2]
  • A 2025 systematic review of 45 clinical trials and cohort studies reported skin laxity improvements of 18% to 30%; its side-effect table lists mild redness in 30-50%, swelling in 10-20% and tenderness in 15-25% of patients. [3]

About This Treatment

The short answer

There is no price list here. Singapore's advertising rules restrict it, and the plan sets the fee in any case. So this page sets out what shapes a fee, not what the fee is.

A quote is given in writing only after consultation and examination. It is not given from photographs or messages, as tissue thickness and laxity must be felt and seen in person.

What shapes the fee

Zones

Jawline, under the chin, midface, brow and neck are planned as separate zones.

Cartridge depths

Palpated tissue thickness guides which depths are used. Each adds consumable use and time.

Number of lines

Line counts are an output of the assessment, not a preset target.

Device and consumables

Ultraformer MPT cartridges have a finite number of lines, and those opened for a plan are part of its cost.

Combinations

HIFU may be combined with, or replaced by, the VF Lift or Time Freeze Laser LCLR®.

Physician time and review

Energy and sequence are adjusted to your feedback, and the review visit is itemised.

What a HIFU cost Singapore quote includes

The plan

Zones, depths, device and anything combined, with each part itemised.

Staging

For combined plans, the order of steps and the review after each.

Review

The review visit is included in the written quote.

How the process works

01
Consultation
This has its own fee, stated at booking, and does not commit you to treatment.
02
Examination
The doctor assesses your laxity, tissue depth and whether HIFU is the right tool.
03
Written quote
The quote comes with the plan. You can take it home, with no same-day decision and no package to sign.
04
Review
Any repeat is decided at review. Packages are not sold.

Questions to ask about any quote

Ask which device is used, which zones and depths are planned, how many lines are expected, who performs the treatment, and whether a review is included. A shot count from one device does not translate to another. A higher figure does not by itself mean a better plan. The plan matters more than the number.

What the fee is paying for

HIFU heats small points at set depths to prompt gradual collagen remodelling. It may suit early to moderate laxity of the jawline, under the chin and neck, where there is enough tissue depth above bone. The doctor maps each zone, chooses cartridges, and adjusts energy to your feedback. A review then checks the response. This is why the fee follows the plan and cannot be read from a list.

When HIFU may not be advised

A fee is only useful if the treatment fits. HIFU may not be advised for volume loss, a full fat pad under the chin, a hollow midface, or a heavy lower face with redundant skin, as these are not focused-ultrasound problems. HIFU also cannot treat pigment or change skin quality. Where laxity is in the dermis and subcutaneous layer rather than at SMAS depth, radiofrequency may be proposed instead. Lean or volume-depleted faces may have the deeper cartridge avoided, or HIFU declined. A consultation can end with no treatment advised.

Risks and sessions

Redness, warmth, tenderness and some jaw swelling are expected. A bruise or altered sensation can occur. Nerve irritation, fat loss, burns and welts are named risks, covered in HIFU side effects. The number of treatments is not fixed in advance, as how many HIFU sessions explains. The result develops gradually, and no duration is promised. Any change varies from person to person.
